On Saturday, September 22, 2007, I took Anne and Mary with me to West Frankfort, Illinois. We went to the oldest school still standing in West Frankfort. Logan School was built in 1916 and is not currently used right now. It is only used as a historical marker for West Frankfort. The mayor of West Frankfort, Marion Presley, also accompanied our visit to Logan School and took a picture with us! The latitude coordinate is 37 degrees 53’ 55” North and the longitude coordinate is 88 degrees 55’ 24” West. I drove there in my car, which according to Mapquest, we traveled 28.63 miles there. For the round trip it ended up being a total of 57.26 miles that we traveled. When I add our trip to Logan School to Anne and Mary’s other trips the total mileage is 1769.72 miles.
